Intalled a Kicker 750.1 amp yesterday. When I plug in only ONE RCA the sub sounds great but when I plug in BOTH RCA's the sound lower a lot. Checked all the cables and connections and they are fine.

does the amp has a bridge switch? if your running it bridged that can happen. one of my amps has one of those switches, and if you press it, it would invert one channel signal so you get bridged, if not, it will sound softer. if not, it could be the rca cables or grounds.
