I had a chance to build the boxes for my 5.25's yesterday. All that is left to do is paint them black and figure out how the speaker wire is going to get out of the box.

Should I put in a terminal in each of them like there is on my sub box, or should I just drill a hole, pull them through, and silicone it closed again???

Here are some pics.

Yeah, I know 3/4" mdf might have been a little over-kill, but that was all the Home Depot had for scraps.

Where are you going to mount them ?
Under the dash. I would have gotten kick panel enclosures, but I'm a bit short on cash. This is just a $3 dollar solution for a $150 problem. It won't be the best, but it will do for now.

I've done the same thing myself for a pair of 5.25 midbasses, I made a sloped box out of 3/8's MDF for each one and mounted them on the floor in front of each seat and had them tucked back a little under the seat, it worked suprisingly well.

I just drilled a hole and used silcone for mine.
