Might be buying a jeep..... Need advice

its a chick ride....like eclipse's and camaro ....pretty much all you see in them
I see more chicks (around here) driving Mustangs more than the Camaros. Of course, they are the V6's that are worthless anyway. To tell you the truth, I've only seen one chick driving a Camaro around here, and she's a dyke bitch. I do agree that Camaro's (The newer one's) are chick cars. I can't say much though, I drive a Mercury Mystique right now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

OP : If you're like the drivers around here with the TJ's, you might want to check just how top heavy this thing is, especially with a lift on it. Being a part of a fire department, and having an interstate in my district, I know they don't fair too well in the winter and with soft tops. (Moronic drivers around here with 4x4's think they are invincible.)

I hope you don't mean the NEW NEW camaros. If you think that's a chick car, there is something wrong with you

Don't know about this one, but we have a XJ with a 3" lift and 33" tires and it rides like absolute shit, not even fun to drive long distance at all. The 4.0L doesn't have enough power at highway speeds either.

Ok, well put simply my winter car is ****ing shot, and I have the opportunity to get a hell of a deal or so I think.
Its a '00 Jeep TJ Sport Wrangler with 40,000 miles. It has a 4'' Lift and 33'' tires. Its been owned and driven by two different owners both being women. First woman, I have no idea. She was older, and just putted around in it. Then my girlfriends mom bought it, drove it for a lil while, and let it sit for a year.

Its books for about 9 G's, and my girlfriends parents said if I wanted it bad enough (I am 17) would work out a payment plan for me. I want it, i'm looking now and the aftermarket parts are just **** sexy. Looking at crawler bumpers and light bars.

I need this, first and foremost for winter driving. But as I drive also a street Honda, 4'' off the ground, I need something to get around in the stix where I live. Eastern side of WA state... Its desert out here. Hell, my car bottoms out going up my girlfriends hill, I would use this to go shooting and all that stuff..

Does anyone know of any reason not to buy these particular jeeps. Are there any known problems I need to watch out for? Beecause I cant afford payments on this, and fix the **** thing. Granted its got so low miles I doubt I would have to. I think its kinda a steal. Just wanted to know for sure I guess I just wanted reassurance.
if you can't afford to fix it, how can you afford to put money toward aftermarket parts:confused:

if your gonna really test it find a nice muddy dirt road and get after it....something you have to put it in 4 low to get out of //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
