might be a stupid question...

when you got a nice load beign sucked up by your amps does your battery light come on? cuz mine does but my voltage does not drop so should i be ok?

if it helps an iam running a stock 105 amp alt with yellow top

only amp is car running right now is the mtx 1004.

my voltage does not drop
Use a good quality multimeter and I'll bet you see your voltage drop. At max output, you are consuming more than half of your available current from your alternator (if I did the math correct). 70A = (500W x 2)/14.4volts or 35A = (125W x 4)/14.4volts. Doesn't look good for your electrical system.

well iam sure it does too....... but not enough that i notice like a bass hit on my dashes volt gage... now i guess my real question is is this going to f*ck anything up? and is the light coming on because of the slight voltage drop? the reason i ssay slight voltage drop is because it sorta twickles every once it a while like not affecting it much. but enough to spraticlly twickle

Is that a technical term I'm not familiar with? Just kidding. I don't see how it will do any damage as long as everything is wired correctly. You may want to consider big 3 and/or a larger alternator to eliminate this problem. However, I don't think you're twickle will cause any permanant damage.

sorry for using any childish terms but cant think of any other way to explain it. The big3 has already been done on my van and i did have a HO alt but it burnt out(still got no idea why i only had it for a month.) can somone explain to me how adding another battery helps your charging system? the reason i ask is if your single alternator cant keep the battery properly charged how does adding a nother item to be charged help any?

Adding another battery won't do anything for your charging system. Your alternator takes care of the charging. A second battery will only tax your existing alternator more. You may have a faulty voltage regulator or something to make your alternator burn out so quickly. Are you sure when you did the big 3 you wired everything up properly? Re-check your grounds (edit: and all connectors) - meaning make sure they are on bare smooth rust free metal with a good solid connector soldered on or crimped on really good. You may be well suited to let someone take a look at this with some diagnostic equipment. good luck.
