current equipment

amp Rockford PBR 300x4 75watts @4ohm x4

Cadence FX8M4 4ohm 8" $125watt rms front doors

I want to use my current equipment for mids and highs

I'm thinking

getting 2 more 8" for the rear door

getting 4 tweeters

cadence XT20 8ohm rms 75watts

or

Cadence CVLT45 4ohms 100watts rms

I want to buy another amp. my question is if I want to use my current Rockford PBR, questions i have below

can you suggest another amp to power 125x4

can you suggest other tweeters opening is 3.5

Thanks

4 slots as in speaker holes? Where are the holes located? Did you say in the door and the dash?
i have 2 on my front dash and 2 at the back pillar

Why not a couple of 3.5" full range drivers up front. That's what I would think about doing if I had 8's in the doors. You could probably put a couple in the back but unless you attenuate them out of your front stage you'll get some interference.

If my thinking is off someone just chime in.

Whatever comes off that windshield is gonna be loud anyway. Reason I say 3.5" full range drivers is because they can cover a wider frequency range than tweeters can, and considering your using 8s in the doors you may need something that can pick up where the 8s leave off.

What is in the cruiser currently?

[quote name='naughtyca']If these are 2 ohm, am i loading 18w on these speakers if the diagram says 2ohm? what will happen if i powered these with 75watts @ 4 ohm, how much wattage will it get?

first off imo I wouldn't get a two way driver, just get the woofer. And the diagram is showing your stock speaker ohm specs. You need to decide what speakers you want to replace your stock with and find an amp that satisfies your new speakers requirements. I can't make any suggestions maybe someone else can.
@neo_styles; wanna chime in on what's been said so far

Sorry, Caleb, never trained myself up on Pro Audio as it's never been something I'd considered for myself. Have to pass this on to someone else.

OP, you'll probably get a better answer from SMD than here for what you're looking for.
