OK first let me tell you what i will be putting in. I have 2 re mx 12" subs with an md3d to each and a box built by starrmountain. I will have a clarion nx702 hu that can run active if i go that route. I will be using and md42 for my highs also I have a md41 but don't know were I would fit so many amps lol.

OK now to the question I have 2 pairs of re 6.5c components at home and I don't know weather or not I should use these sense they are only rated at 50wrms and my bass will overpower them or should I go for a new setup. (I am leaning to a new setup) If I go with a new setup what should I get? before you answer here are my options.

I have been looking at (if i go active) using a PPI pt.2 in each door with a PPI pm.65 mid or just going with a massive audio ck6x component set.

Now let me show you my options as far as brands( I have a local source that i get good prices from and warranty)

PPI-MASSIVE AUDIO--REAUDIO--SOUNDSTREAM--POWERACOUSTIK--CLARION-- I THINK THAT'S ALL THAT'S WORTH MENTIONING. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I should through in that my dash speaker take some work to change so I don't want to do the trial and error if i can stay away from it and my rear door said it takes a .75" I am sure I can adapt something but not to crazy I cant cut the actual door panel because of warranty.

The PPI drivers you listed are pro audio. The mids are rated for 150 Hz on the bottom end, which is going to give you drastically different performance than a "standard" car audio component mid. Have you considered the PPI PC2.65C set? The CK6X set should be a nice choice, also.

What vehicle is this going into?

jeep liberty 2012 jet edition. I was told the ck6x set was pretty good but wasn't told anything on the ppi I can get either one . are you saying the pro audio would sound better than the component set? and any opinions on the tweeter versus the ones that come in the components sets ?

I don't have any experience with pro audio speakers in the car. The problem I was referring to with those PPI mids is you will have a big hole in the frequency response. You may have to cross your subwoofer as high as 100 Hz or higher to cover the upper bass and midbass range. This doesn't often sound good.

Those tweeters might sound good to you, but I don't know if you've heard a "super" tweeter before so you have an idea of what to expect.

ok I got another idea I just realized that the massive-audio ck6x can be mounted as a coaxial setup so what if in the rear I mount it as a component and in the front as a coaxial and then on the dash were the stock 2.5" is I can mount a set of pt.2s and all I would need is another 2ch amp for the pt.2s so I would wire up the 2 sets of rk6x on a md42 4ch and then the 2 sets of pt.2 pro audio tweeters to a separate amp like a BK210.2 from ppi?
