midrange speakers and tweeters?

what is the difference between midrange speakers and midrange subs? should i get a pair of them for my sound system? and if i do what are a good but cheap pair.what do tweeters do for your sound system and should i get some. if i get 4 what are good but cheap ones?

midrange plays highs and a little bit of lows. midbass (what u call midrange sub) play the low frequency. a very decent, good comp set with either midbass, or midrange, check into CDT audio. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=page.display&page_ID=14&category_ID=10&mfg_account_ID=21&sort=low&=Update+Selection

i just bought the CDT Audio CL-61A (midrange comp set) i installed it today. sound is crystal clear. run u about 140.00 -- they also have the CL-60A on sale for 99.00

There is no such thing as a 'midrange sub'. Therefore, your question is impossible to answer.

Midrange is a descriptor for a speaker that covers a certain area... the midrange freqs. A subwoofer plays the subsonic region, not midrange. Therefore describing a speaker as a midrange sub is an oxymoron.
