ok, so my speakers right now put out the midbass. should i set it so my subs put out the midbass, or get like a dedicated 8 inch sub in the front? or any other ideas

midbass is directional so unless you have your woofers in front of you and pointed towards you then no

Your speakers are sopposed to put out mid-bass. Hence the "mid" bass compared to "sub" bass.
