Mid Range and Tweeter in series with in line high pass crossover before tweeter HELP!!

Can someone explain to me why this wouldn't work? I needed the speakers to be in series because they were originally wired in parallel from the factory, and after replacing them it would have been too much of a load (too low of impedance) on my amp.
