Need some pros' opinions here for a Kick panel w/ 2-way active setup that will be go into a 99 Acura TL. Trying to keep it simple :
- I have a pair of Seas Neo (27TAFNC). Driven by Audison SRX2 65wX2 @ 4ohm
- HU will be pioneer DEH-P800PRS, crossing at BASS_LP:150 MID_LP/HP:150/3000 TWEET_HP:3000
- 10" 0.65 Sealed box w/ Image Dynamics IDQ10V3 D4, driven parallel 2 ohm by a Audison lrx1.400 (650w x 1 @ 2 ohm)
Now the mid is where I'm real confused. Seas Lotus/excel is out of range.The 3 choices I can pin down is the
18sound 6ND430 4 or 8 or 16 ohm (harder to find than blue roses)
B&C 6NDL38 (other B&C suggestion welcome)

The amp to drive is open to suggestion (Zapco C2K or Arc 2500 XXK, or if I win lottery, sinfoni/audison/mcintosh)
I mainly listern to female vocal/Jazz/classical(warm sounding), but occasional lounge/techno mix (so fast transient).
Welcome anyone got some suggestion for the setup. I'd like to decide on the mid fast, currently the B&C is the best candidate I think, but would love to try out the 18sound (!HIGH! eff) and Peerless (all around great spks).
