how the hell i get them out can't use poison don't want them to die in car.. i'm gonna put trap under car everyday when she comes home.. she parks beside dumpster at work.. turned carport light on and mouse on hood walked out there he went under hood, thought oh no house mouse went in her car but started car opened hood noticed what looked like dirt on engine cover., i saw same thing last week when i changed air filter i cleaned it.. so she may have 10 mice in her fender.. i put trap on carport i put more out today, but i'm afraid they say in car be better if they get out and come in house i can catch them easy then.. anything scare them out?

And tell her not to park next to dumpster. Worse place anybody can park. They're in the car for warmth.
she said i parked last car there for 13yrs no problems., i told her if she left hood open at work they may leave but it's hot now so that would work better in winter.. yeah i'll put sticky traps on floor board i guess.. when she comes home i'll put old school trap under car and floor board, then when motor cools i'll set one on top of motor cover.. i'll put moth balls & cedar chips in car.. internet says they don't like dog or human hair, well i really don't wanta put dog hair in car then i have mice and fleas lol but also i think a mouse put that on internet so they can use it to make a nest with.. i think this will be something i have to fight with forever cause idk how long they been there so i'll just have to keep traps in there cause if they chew on wires in this 2013 car could cost $4k to fix what they break..

I know its kind of funny, but in reality, those mice are doing a lot of damage to your car. They have already chewed through the insulation on some of your wires, and its just a matter of time before they short something, or just completely chew through some wires and disable the car. If you need some motivation, call the dealer and ask them how much a front harness costs for your car. It won't be covered under warranty. It would be a really good idea to pop the hood and unhook the negative battery cable until the issue is resolved.

Your garage is going to become their home. Just put poison in the front and back of each tire. That will kill them. If it is a family and you use traps, they will just send the youngest out to die in the trap and then the elders will never touch them again.
i got reg traps and glue traps everywhere in and under car and on top of motor but can't use poison afraid they'd die in car and it'd just kill birds.. i'm putting traps on carport and under the house tomorrow..
