Metal Speaker Grille?

It is for a mid in the kick so im looking for something to protect my speaker from clumsy passengers. I already made a speaker baffle that will hold the gril about a half inch away from the speaker. I saw fabric manufacturers advertising "Completely Invisible to sound waves" so, I was wondering if the metal will block or screw up the sound in any way?

Thanks

Thanks those look good, but I was hoping to cover up the outer ring that I made because it is not of top quality //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif .... Maybe I'll check out the local hardware store for metal mesh.

You could try some screening mesh at home depot in the windows section, or you could buy some cheap subwoofers grills from a flea market and cut to size. Good luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
