Hi, I'm new to this forum, so if a similar question has already popped up, please help and point me in the right direction.
My problem, I decided to swap out the stock Audio 20 speakers in my C300 with HK speakers. I removed the stock tweeter and mid speaker and replaced them with OEM HK speakers. Both HK, new-to-me, speakers were working prior to being installed in my car. The tweeters seem to work fine; however, the mid-range speakers have absolutely no bass whatsoever. The connections on the HK speakers are OEM and so, I assumed, it would be be plug and play. I got the idea from another member of MBWorld.org who decided to do something similar. It worked for him, and a few other members, but not for me, so I don't know what went wrong. Perhaps someone here can help? I followed the steps precisely.
