memphis 1000d vs ed nine.1

Hey i'm switching subs and was wondering if anybody has bench tested a ed nine.1 yet. I currently own a memphis 1000d and i'm buying a nine.1 and was wondering if the nine.1 actually puts out the 1200watts and should I notice a difference in spl between the 2?

the nine.1 will put a little bit more than 1200 watts since it's rated at 12.5 volts. you'll probably be around 13.8-14.x volts. however i don't think you will see much difference between the two amplifiers.

I'm gonna be runnin a SI 15" mag and people said 2 1000d's strapped is way to much and the nine.1 is perfect. I was looking at a usamps md2d but even that might be to much.

both are good,I prefer the 9.1 though having owned both

the difference wouldnt be that drastic unless you meter it
