Well I got everything hooked up. 1/0 wired to under rear seat, to a distro block, then to the amplifier. Grounded to a body ground. I read the voltage at the amp and it read 13.65 with jeep running.

I could barely hear the sub playing. wasnt moving more than 2 millimeters.

Any ideas?

set your gains properly, turn off subsonic filter if you have it...set your LPF to around 80....just mess with it and you'll bump....

oh and what ohm load are u wired to the amp

Wired to 4 ohms. supposed to be pushing 700w RMS to sub

Turning gain to any level did nothing.

I don't see any switches on the amp to turn off SSF or LPF. I have LPF to around 80hz.

Voltage at the terminals was 13.65

Apparently with this amplifier you need the remote bass control connected in order to run the amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

I'm going to go out and set my gains correctly, then bump like no tomorrow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

sounds like you are wired in series, incorrectly.

if you do this then one coil is pulling, while the other is trying to push......

bad explination, but the shit happens all the time

peace

You shouldnt have to??

But I never read the manual, but would be weird if you did.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I would check the wiring at sub also to make sure its pos/neg,pos/neg....switch oneside around.

You could also get a short set of RCAs to hookup plug into amp(one side) and on the other lightly tap too see if your rcas are shot from the HU.

And make sure you have the rcas in the line input side and not the output.......lol

test your RCA voltage at the end of your RCAs where it goes into the amp and make sure it tests good, turn the volume on your cd player all the way uo and play like a 50hz sine wave or somthin so it stays at a solide voltage, then if that tests fine then stick your DMM into the pos and neg of the speaker terminals and check the output there, if that test fine then test the resistance of your subs
