Me ports are on the way for my box...........but dont see how that will be louder then your other one really,but we shall see.

the box is so small and studry that it really doesnt seem to need it. even if i did there's really not room for threaded rods. its a solid little box

this is going to be an ongoing experiment to get a small box tuned right. it is a little louder, but nearly by as much a i was hoping for, and i know this sub is capable of more. new window goe son tomarrow and sunday ill be metering away

That sucks,but you can see if you get a better score the same way you did it last time.

You did a 144.7 see if goes up and youll know if the new box is doin anything.

uhh that box aint gonna get loud my friend....too small of a port width and the sub shouldnt be firing up. Ideally you want the back of your vehcile to act like a loading mechanism within itself by firing the sub AND Port back....if you had two subs, then id say you'd do better with both subs up and port back, but with single subs ive found you get louder firing the port and the sub back (at least in SUV's)

your box should do well if you mimic this at the very least :

You're also not supposed to mount your class D amp to the subwoofer enclosure....but I'm sure you knew this.

yeah...ugly is nice and all for SPL. But the inside of most SPL boxes are really smooth and clean. At least mine are.

Im also going to have to agree with Mr. Snoop on this one. You might actually lose a little bit with that box. You also might of went a tad to small. Usually if you are going to build a small Pressure box, you want to throw and *** load of power at the sub.
