well waitin on sub, but anyhow, it sits in the corner to save room, after i get the sub ill do some more carpet work to connect the carpet to the trunk liner to make it look like its meant to be there.

I have to admit.....that is sweet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I can move my sub closer to the back seat, it has a slanted back on the box.....I just find I get a lil better bass response with the sub a little bit farther away from the back seat. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i wouldve sugggested to make the enclosure slightly bigger just to make it fit perfectly for your trunk. You will get more of a efficient response with a bigger enclosure.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif not real sure at what your geting at....Sure power handeling will decrease if the box is bigger, but im sure 1.25 cubes i plennnnnnty for that sub, That box looks right, and all a bigger box will do is make the sub sound more boomy

i see, well, defintely there is nothing wrong with your box, $35 is pretty cheap matter of fact, so you choose to ever go custom down the road, your really not losing much. Basically im just one for clean installs so i did this. hopefully it looks 10x better with the sub, but anyhow if you ever want to attempt anything like this, i would be glad to help you out, its real simple when it comes down to it, just alot of work, alot of messy work.

It looks really good... but not feeling the kicker gril on a JL sub
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ............I just couldnt let it go to waste. I had that grill on a previous install with a Kicker sub.

p.s. did u mean My* Box lol..if you looks closely "cleaness" is spelt wrong in my sig, reason i cant fit it, cuz i didnt make it lol

I4........I love it. Still pretty peppy, but I get awesome gas mileage. Mine is loaded......power everything, leather, XM, steering wheel controls, heated seats, sunroof with visor, trunk lip spoiler, trim package, tint.......you name it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ditto, im i4 too. u shud replace ur front speakers and rears

Actually Im gonna replace the fronts, but I will leave the rear.......its good for the rearfill........I dont want alot of treble and midrange coming from the rear. The speakers in the rear now are basically playing mid-bass.

i went to buy a piece of MDF wood, (this was i was getting started with my other project) so they didnt have any separate pieces, so I got a 30 x 14 piece cut off a big sheet. I get home and i see the recipt, $20 , i was like what! turns out, its 20 bucks for the whole sheet, lol i went back and got the sheet, now it just cut up into big pieces in my attick! but for your front speakers, ill have to drill into the door panel.

Well to get a little more room in my trunk, I relocated my sub to just in front of my alpine amp. I had to relocate the dual lock which was keeping my sub in place. That shiz was stuck in place, I had to use glue thinner and scrape the dual lock up. Anyhow, its done. My sub is tucked nice and neatly under the rear deck in the drivers side corner. I will update my pic soon.
