yeah I know the first gen's had some serious problems...

and I know people waited a long *** time for theirs to get fixed or replaced.

what I meant was what the story of how it happened to you exactly.. like you were running at what 1 ohm? and burping it or w/e...

needless to say i'll never buy another DD product ever again. If I hadnt been lied to about the amps, then raked over the coals with my subs - then maybe this would of had a different ending. Plus I never felt like they gave a shit weather I bought from them ever again or not. Lack of customer support FTL. Hell man, they dont even read their own fourm and get feedback from their customers. How sad is that shit? I thought the 2nd gen Z1s had some problems too, just not nearly as bad though.

Dave I can understand you writing that you didn't catch a bad first gen...it is not a secret the first gens had problems...

but were the pics necessary...? alot of people get upset because of that..

well i have a pair of those sonys in my wifes car and to my surprize they hit with adecent sounding bass note....i was impressed with a 100 pair of 12....well sorry to here about the mess up sub.....
