Ive never messed with a TL. Just have a question. I noticed that on the first part of one of the songs, it doesn't measure anything, even though its audible. Does the meter only give a reading if its above a certain db, or predetermined range? Just curious.

TLs are normally setup not to read anything 120db. This can be changed in their settings.

What electrical are you running?

Typically I have a dual alt setup consisting of the factory 160a and a 200a, RedTop under the hood & a pair of YellowTops in the back, two runs of RF 2/0 wiring front to back (one power & one ground), RF 1/0 from batteries to the amps, and a mix of RF 2/0 & 1/0 for the big 4. 2/0 from the alts to batt, 1/0 from the batt to engine block, engine block to chassis, and chassis to batt. I like overkill.

Where is the meter placed?

The meter is in the kick. Thats where the local shows here place it. I'll do some on the windshield also.

Since my camcorder broke I've been using my digicam for vids and it doesn't quite pick up movement that well but here is the best I have. My new digi camcorder will be here next week so I'll get some better quality vids then.

Good luck man...thats pretty decent for a daily driver on music, anything over 145 for daily is plenty

nice vids. if i were you i wouldnt put the laptop in the car. its prolly not designed to take all that power.

140db's is way more than enough for me for daily driver.

i do not want to come off like a dick, but for that much cone area i would not be satisfied with those #'s. i would start by messing with your box, alot.
