All the first generation Z1's were defective. And to top it off, Digital Designs had absolutely no way of dealing with the problem when it occoured. I dropped my amps off with Steve Milton himself at finals, where he proceded to stack my two onto a stack of 5 other Z1's that were crispy. Then they told me for weeks upon weeks that they'd fix my amps, then finally admitted that they had no one to fix the stacks of them they had at their office and that they didnt know when I would get my equipment back. I just asked for a refund.

yay me.

I was lucky enough to experience it first hand. Then I was dumb enough to go back to DEEE DEE again for subs. Im just too trusting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Just proves some equpment works out for some people, and not others.

yeah I know the first gen's had some serious problems...

and I know people waited a long *** time for theirs to get fixed or replaced.

what I meant was what the story of how it happened to you exactly.. like you were running at what 1 ohm? and burping it or w/e...

Dave I can understand you writing that you didn't catch a bad first gen...

it is not a secret the first gens had problems...

but were the pics necessary...? alot of people get upset because of that..
