I am an electrical engineer by trade so knowing the difference between DCR and nominal impedance is obvious. That doesn’t me I know how to set the gains on my amp.

Look at both sides of the arguement. If this guy isn't a classic car audio troll, then he's making one hell of an impression of one. New user, almost no posts, posts pics of equipment many people here drool over, acts as if he has no clue and barely even likes it. The obvious arguements ensued.
Then he makes a new post, where he talks about "pounding Ronnie Milsap's greatest hits album", he takes a shot at said equipment people have drooled over, and makes a vague reference to cranking the 'knobs' on it.

Sure, maybe the guy is some schlep electrical engineer that can talk the talk in one thread, but cant walk the walk in another, that stumbled upon a very nice piece, that he now acts as if he is not impressed with, that calls them 'knobs on the side' and 'slider things' on EQ's in one thread but discusses DCR and nominal impedance in another.... and just loves to try and bump Ronnie Milsap. Or maybe, just maybe, this guy is attempting to push every button he can on as many people as he can, just to stir up trouble.

Now, I realize they may all be coincidences, and he is genuine. Or, he may have started out sincere but has turned into a trouble maker since the original thread. But either way, all the signs are there. So, your act of shock and horror over people thinking he's just trolling, is underwhelming. Maybe he, is you?

Sorry I worded it wrong. Im going go out on a limb here and say any eletrical engineer out there would be able to set them or atleast have an idea.

I didnt make the point, and even I can see you dodging it. How many streets do you walk down that are populated with nothing but electrical engineers? Or, do electrical engineers these days not need any reading comprehension classes in order to graduate?
