MB Quart Ref sub still a good sub?

That's my thought as I'm trying to keep this cheap but sound good and minimal room. I'm using the side wheel well of my mazda 6 hatch. I figure 500w on either sub ported nicely to 32-35hz will sound clean and loud. Single 6.5" comps up front no rear fill, comps will be off about 120w per side. Nice open cabin, small 4 door car should be quite loud when she's done. I'm going to order the MB Quart, if I like it awesome, if not I'll sell it to a friend lol.

Well I've got one on order now so hopefully the 12" and my Hertz Energy comps will be here before the weekend so I can build the box and start my install. Hoping to have it all in before 2/1.

Can those 15'' MB subs go loud? I have a MB Quart RAA2400 amplifier,800+ wrms @4ohms,i hear that the sub has great sound, but is it loud enough?

Other opinions?

When i look the stats i see 700 rms and freq 16-300 which is pretty impresive when u have in mind that its a 15'' sub.. But i know that numbers dont mean jack,so i come here for advices! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I had 2 RWE 15's in 1.5 sealed each with a zx1000.1 and it was loud. They dropped etremely low and sounded very good doing it. Could be the install, not sure but I regret selling mine.
