MB Quart q1.1500 or hifonics brz1700?

Does anybody have pics of these amps guts? I had a MB quart dsc1500 and it performed very well, did over 1600 RMS. Now I am looking to update my amp and these are the choices. I am wanting to see the internals because based on the components I can pick the better amp. Maxxsonics said that they will do around the same amount of power give or take. But I would really like to see the internal build of them. Also if anybody has experience with both chime in and let me know which you liked more.

1700 will **** the dsc1500....the dsc was a **** fine amp line but the brz has more oomph to it... last verified test with solid math for the 1700 I saw was over at CS.com 1900 or so unclipped watts on the 1700...

Maxx really did a good job on the new CEA rated lines....

i highly doubt the brutus put out 1900 watts of unclipped power.. proof? link?

All of these tests will not have opinion just facts. From my findings today I have discovered that the brz line will do over rated at 1 ohm of clean power under 14.4 volts. Here are the "variables". HEADUNIT VOLTAGE: 1.2 TONE: 60hz -5db AMPLIFIER VOLTAGE: 43.9 VOLTAGE AT AMPLIFIER: 13.55 Keep in mind the headunit and amplifier were set to their max using an oscilloscope to maintain a clean signal. At 1 ohm the amplifier is potentially putting out 1927 watts at 13.55 volts. This test was performed without a load on the amplifier because I don't have the subs that can handle that much power for testing purposes. In the next week or so I will be "fininshing" some work to my electrical and will be at a constant 14.5 or 15 volts. I have yet to decide. More tests to come. Oh BTW products used: Pioneer 4300ub, Hifonics BRZ1700.1D, Shuriken SKBT100, Quality Power 235 amp alternator (140 amp idle; test was performed at idle), all 2 gauge welding wire, Monster cable HT rcas, Craftsmen Voltage Meter and Welleman Oscilloscope. Feel free to post any questions. Hope this up to your standards LP.

He used a test tone. I doubt itll do 1900 watts rms.

and regardless of any of that... the dsc while under rated...are not near as tough or well built or as efficient as the newer BRZ line is...look really close at that gutshot i posted then go look at a DSC 2k gutshot...look close...really close...dang them boards sure do look exactly the same....quite a bit more in the BRZ tho... new more efficient HS design less weight... over all better built and notice the DSC line is now gone? replaced by the formula and onx lines? hmmm... wonder why that was...

you must not be aware of who i am //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif soi will let your "opinion" be yours wrong or not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

wish I had 1 man

i didn't open that amp the customer did he didn't care about the warranty and is running at .66 daily anyway... lots of guys on ROE are running daily at .5 on the BRZ with 0 issues as well...

Isnt that pic of the 2400's guts? And I talked to Mike at Maxxsonics and he said that they would both do 1700 and change. actually he said the 1500 would do a little more power but the 1700 was more durable.

so are those guts a 2400 or 1700? because I was looking at the brz2400 and got the same pic of the guts. If that is the 1700 I think I will spend the extra money to get that opposed to the mb quart, although the mb quart and hifonics do rated and more the pic of that amp looks more like a 2kw than a 1700. you wouldn't happen to have internal pics of the q1.1500 would you.
