I recently picked up an MB Quart DSC480 for $110 shipped from Sonic Electronix on Ebay. I got out of car audio about ten years ago and back then buying an amp of this quality would have easily cost $400-$500. I cannot believe how high quality of an amp the DSC is for the money - it is outrageous!

I am running mine 320 x 1 (channels 3+4 bridged) and channels 1+2 @ 2ohm stereo (160 x 2) and the amp doesn't even break a sweat. To my ears it definitely is putting out advertised power. I have pushed the system quite hard for over an hour at a time and the amp gets mildy hot to touch but that is it. I cannot even get the "clip protection" red LED light to flicker on when I am pushing the amp very hard. Unreal product for the money and it has the bonus of having a really nice "high end" look to it with quality anodized finish and beautiful case. Even the speaker connects and power/ground terminals look and feel of quality.

The amp is so good I thinking of grabbing one more just to have in storage for any future system I might build.

i have an old school rockford bd1000a1, but i am thinking of selling it and "upgrading" to the 1500.1 mb quart...best sub amp for $300 in my opinion.

Yes they do, I own a 1500.1 and a 4125, im only selling the 1500.1 to upgrade, amps make plenty of power, the 4125 is very comparable to my old Sundown 125.2 with 2 extra channels. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
