I was wondering if this amp is worth buying for $220 brand new. Is it a good amp that will last long and is it over or under rated? thanks

or should I go with a kicker kx1200.1 instead?

it does, i had one. get the quart discus 1500. it is a better amp for same price.

imo it is. my type r's hit harder with my new discus.
