MB quart DSC2000

3k * .5 = 1500. SQRT = 38acv or so. That's being pretty generous on the output though.

I find it hard to believe that you aren't dropping below 14v. Where are you measuring that?

Why is .5 your only option? You have Dual .25 or single .5 coils? Wire it to 2 ohms and see what happens.

I think he has 4 D4 subs actually. So his other option is 2 ohm really.

I'm not a huge fan of running the MB's that low do to a multitude of factors, but if that is what he has to work with..my answer..buy a second //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif

Yeah it was kind of hard for me to believe too. Measuring at the rear battery. Im thinking it really is dropping when it goes in to protect, but its not registering on my DMM because its so brief. And I can wire to 2 ohm, but that kind of defeats the purpose of me getting this amp because its less power @ 2 than I had before. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I didn't mean to wire there forever. I just mean wire to 2 and beat on it, watch voltage, see if it protects, etc.

Can you move the DMM to the amp terminals? Double check your ground, maybe?

Grounded from batt to batt. Could probably use a better ground up front though. Yeah I'll try to wire @ 2 and see what happens. Going to mess with it later and see what I come up with. thanks

check the the voltage at the amp. with some heavy bass and see if u have a constant drop at the amp.
Will do. If I get a chance today Im going to test a few things. Im pretty sure my gain is way too high at the moment..so Ill set it right and see what I've got for voltage at the amp on heavy bass.
