MB Quart component set

Hey I just got a set of MB quart components from a guy and I'm probably going to sell them, since I'm off at college 10 months out of the year with no car out there. Anyway just wondering what you guys think they are worth and what a good asking price would be. Ebay and google were kinda all over the place on prices. The 5.25's are model # QM 130 , and I saw a guy selling them on here for 40 shipped.

The crossovers are model # mcx328. I know these are pretty good because they are 3 way corssovers with dual inputs, one for high and one for low. I've seen these same crossovers in some component sets online selling from 160-280 shipped.

Finally on the tweeters, I'm unsure on what the model # is but I'm almost positive they are MB Quart. I couldn't find a model number listed anywhere on them, and when I pulled them apart the only numbers listed on the inside were 16-6643 on the inside of the plastic housing and a big 6 then space and 9 in white on the back of the tweeter speaker itself, and 09 97.

Anyway just thought I'd post up here and see what you guys thought a fair asking price on these component. I would love to keep them as they sound really good, but I need the money for college.

Any feedback, experience with them, links to info or specs would be awesome. I've looked around a little bit, but would welcome new information, especially first hand. If you have an offer on these components feel free to make it.

Something about the woofer on the right does not look good to me.

It could just be the picture. If you have heard these actual speakers,

and you like them, I'd offer half the low price you found from a place

you would trust enough to order from. So $80 at the most.

So you would offer 80 for the whole setup? There is nothing wrong with the speakers at all, I heard them and they sound great to me. Thanks for the info man

He's not looking to buy them. He already owns them.

$60 shipped for the entire set?? Come on guys. IIRC, those MusiComp xovers only come in the Q series (their highest end before Maxxsonics buyout), although the mids don't look like the QSDs I used to own. QSD-213s are still selling on ebay for $250-$275. I've seen them online for as low as $200, but that's insanely low and not something off which to base your 50% discount (not sure where you got that number, anyway- lots of stuff sells on here for much more than 50% of what you can pick it up for online). There's not as many people looking for 5.25" components as there are 6.5" but I'd be willing to bet you could start out at $160 shipped and go from there, assuming the mids and tweeters are from the Q series lineup.

They're Reference series components, usually go for >$100.

ok so what would be a good asking price to start at for the whole set? I'm going to post them up for sale on the classifieds here within the next few days. If anyone of you guys wants them shoot me an offer. I really appreciate the posts so you guys get first crack at them. I was thinking of going with what mikey said and starting around 150-160. That would be plenty enough for me. So yeah does anyone see a big problem with starting about there, or does that seem fair? Thanks again guys.
