Maybe a stupid question but.....

As most of you know i was going to buy a RE 15" MT...but as most of you say its not a good idead to run daily...and the very poor sq im going to choose something else....I want something that will get just as loud for everyday...Im not talking about 1 single sub getting as loud as 1 MT but im talking about multiple subs...NOw for the question since i was getting the 15" MT..but im not i was wondering what other subs will get just as loud for the same price BUT witrh better sq.. Car is grand prix....Any ideas any body

What kind of install are You planning? Your focus is mainly daily driving music with the rare competition? -or- vice versa?

Also, how much power do You have on hand?

i prefer my mt's over my atlas's..."sq" is very subjective

i only run ~2-2.5k per mt and im more than happy...get what YOU want

daily driver...with rare compettions.....only during the summer...im still in school...im going to get 2 12.1 amps. or 1 22.1 amp for power.....going for all RE....and i would go for what i want..but im never going to be able to hear a MT personally....subs i have heard are RF p1's,kciker cvr's,juggernauts,audio aw157t's, and orion h2's..i was satisfied with the way all of them sounded besides the aw157t'd wihch are audiobahns lowest model..I HATED THAT SUB...bottomed out just about every note

For the power that You have (get an alt to support those amp's for driving around), You'll be fine with an MT 12" in a 4-5 cu. ft. enclosure.

The install will be louder to the ear if You fire it towards the rear of the car

-vs-

The install will be louder to the sensor / mic if You fire fwd through the rear bulkhead.

BTW - MT's soud fine on music. Not my number 1 choice, but they sound fine.

"SQ" is COMPLETELY subjective... even the competitve org's will tell You that.

If you liked the sound of the mmats jugg, then get that 15. It would certainly be up their with the mt no doubt output wise.

teampsi recommened 15" MT with 4cu ft. enclsoure tuned to 34hz...i might have to build the enclosure in my car most likely....but all the more fun..lol...any body know much this subs weighs?

well my XXX15 weighs 55-60lbs, 15 MT weighs like 65lbs i think maybe more or less
