My car is a 98 eclipse RS, not really sure the brand of the deck it doesnt really say anything on it. Its just the stock one. It's two piece if that helps, the cd player is seperate from the rest of it.

Alright so i just buy one of those adapter things, plug it into my deck, and then just match the wires up by color and slide them into the slots on the adapter in my car? Or is there more to it?

Alright think i finally get what you guys are saying. So i buy one with a 14 pin adapter that plugs into my deck. Then that has 16 wires coming out of it which i plug into the harness coming out of my car?

I'm assuming the white side is a female plug?
