Max volume for subs

for those of you with subs, whats the max volume you put your head unit at?

for me so far ive went to 25/35 im too worried to go up to 30, would i be too much?

I can go to 33 out of 35 on my kenwood with the sub level on +0 and it sounds great

of course depends on how everything is setup, from the bass setting on the HU to the gain on the amp.

raise your volume before your speakers begin to distort, then you set your gains. blah blah blah.

The way I do it is set every EQ band to full boost, max out the gain and bass boost on my amp, shut the crossovers off, and then turn my HU up to 80/80.

My HU is set for a max of -36 not that it really helps you any:crap:
