I've been lurking around this forum for some time getting helpful insight on so many things, so I finally decided to join.
Here's my situation. I've recently upgraded to a Hifonics BRX1600.1D and need to run some new wire because I currently have 4 gauge CCA. I'm going to be running the amp at 2 ohm - 1200 rms. If I could, I would pick up some OFC 1/0 and call it a day, but I don't have the $140 to throw down on that right now since I just bought the amp. I can either upgrade to OFC 4 gauge, or CCA 1/0. I was thinking 1/0 because it's a bigger wire, but I know it's less conductive. Some input would be fantastic!
tl;dr : What's better, 1/0 cca or 4 OFC?
