i like my 15". even though its getting less than a 3rd of what it wants, it still sounds good, and get a bit loud. i really cant give a spl review cause its got so little watts running to it, but sq is very good. after a couple weeks od having it and listening to alot of diff music, i feel it does the job on everything i've thrown at it. i still cant wait to get some power to it. i dont think it will be a spl monster.

i bet my 2.45 sealed will still get in the mid 130's after i get a new amp to run it.

how can you beat that with a $100 sub, brand new in a sealed box, that still actually sounds good. i bet you got something messed up somewhere. i hope you get it fixed so you can experiance how good it actually sounds for so cheap. i

im going to second that this is a user error...i personally have 2 15" mach5s and they are unbearably loud and sound amaaaaazing...i hooked my buddy at work up with a 12", heupgraded from a 10" kenwood sub...and even with the same amount of power as his kenwood was getting, and even in the same crappy box(he just cut the hole bigger, lol) he absolutely loves it and there is no comparison...in addition, i have had the...opportunity...to hear a pyle subwoofer...and ya...

I'm thinking his box is a single chamber, dual sub box. If that is the case, then this guy truly is retarded for trying t run it that way. It would be pretty hard to wire the sub wrong, since the MAW is a single-4 ohm woofer IIRC. Unless he is bridging a 2-channel or something. IDK.

Double checked, and they are dual-4s. So you either have a wiring problem, or you have put a single sub in dual-sub box with a shared chamber. I certainly hope it's the wiring. If not, you may be beyond the help of modern medicine.

I'm going to echo what others have been saying and agree that you need to evaluate the wiring and explore different box designs to get the most out of your new sub.
