Science is everything
Hey I asked about this two days ago and had some great help from here. Again this is for my GF shes been out sick and has another assignment due but I told her id help her get it done, let me know if you guys can lend me a hand havent touched math in years and although its pretty basic compared to what I had been in, once you forget how to set these up, it makes it a good bit more difficult.

First few:

1. Write the solution set in interval notation.

-3(2x-1)

2. Write the solution set in interval notation.

4(x-8)+3x-2 > or equal to 3(x-6)+12x

3. Solve. Write the solution set using interval notation.

6-(8x-3)> or equal to -9(x+1)-2

I apprecaite all the help in advanced

I know what ya mean man, makes me feel old, guess its been 7-8 years since this stuff. At the time it was a breeze but when you forget how to set it up or what its really asking for... I dont care to get her a bad grade in her class, that would put me in the dog house for sure.

Lol this was forever ago but check this:

(-infinity, -26.5]

(-infinity, -2]

[-20, +infinity)

edit: whoa tappin and I almost agree on something! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif tappin I believe you added 3 to -50 instead of subtracting 3 for the first one.

I think one of us is missing something on #2 btw brackets are only used if it is ≥ or ≤ and it is always a parathesis for ∞

where'd ya get -2.125? I just re-did mine and came out with -2 even. -16/8

and ya I know bout them brackets and Pahren-theses... re-do #2 and see whatcha get im curious.
