Massive voltage drop at amp but not at battery? Help

Have you metered the same voltage drop on both sides of the distro?i.e. in / out?

I don't believe I have no. I'll have to try that tomorrow.

I think it might be the distro. I tested the amp with the distro out of the loop and just direct wires to the amp and I wasn't getting different variations in the voltage drop. And recently I ordered a bunch of ANL buss bars for the distro and put 4 bars in between each connection in the circuit to hopefully boost the strength of the current going through the distro, and so far it's been working, but it's still hard to make a definitive conclusion as most times when I mess with it, it seems fine for a few days and then starts acting up again. I just did the buss bar fix on Tuesday of this week so hopefully it stays working. Eventually I think I'm going to have to just replace the distro with an extra battery instead. That would, or at least should create the strongest link between the front and the back with the least amount of resistance to keep the voltage up. But so far since Tuesday the voltage has been much stronger at the amp. I have even been able to tune the amp for more power (1600W up from 1000W) and I barely ever see the voltage meter on the amp dip under 13v unless it's a really savage bass drop. Before the fix a low bass note would drop the needle into the red zone with ease (as seen in the previous video).

With a DMM and a 40Hz tone at -5db off of the SMD DD1 CD. I know it's not the most accurate way to measure output so don't flame me for it. I just don't have a clamp meter.

Yeah I just hope it stays that way haha. After putting the bar fix in place at one point when I started my car my voltage was reading at 14.56v. And I have NEVER seen it that high befor or ever since haha. Usually always sits at about 13.9-14v. I wish my electrical would run at that level at all times (**** ECM controlled alts) lol
