Massive audio ct2 tweeters

Hello all. Ive just bought these and im running an active setup. I wanted to know if i should use the cap / crossover that came with these. I also have a pioneer GM-D864 4 channel amp. Should i also set it to hi on the crossover or full range. My 3 way active crossover will separate the freqencies but just need some advise on the best set up. Thanks

no that would result in a much steeper slope because you have two crossovers in place. Just use your active crossover.

full. Everything done on the head unit/DSP

Ok ill do that. Ive always ran it on hi pass in the past on the amp as i always thought it would offer more protection but ill try it your way

Even on my mirange amp i had it set to high pass

my bad, it doesnt hurt to have a high pass on the amp for tweeters but for mids, definitely all head unit/dsp.

Ok . So no in line tweeter crossover. Done. Mid amp on full . Done. Headunit on normal / full. Done. Ill tune it up and see how it sounds.

All set up. Talk about sweet sound. These tweeters sound beautiful paired with my id oem 6.5in mids. 2 pioneer premier champion series subwoofers in ported box. Sounds lovely.
