Massive Audio and Pioneer SPL

Let me start by saying I did a search for both and there is a lot of info to go through.

Is anybody running either of these subs? I am intrested in the 10" Pioneer SPL and the 10" Competition Series from Massive.

I am planning on running 6 10's in a sealed box. Looking at the OPTI 500x2 for power. Plan on running 3 of the OPTI's (pair of 10's on each amp). Should be able to run them @ 4 ohm's bridged or run them 2 ohm x2 for slightly more power according to the specs on the amp. Anybody see any problems with this so far.

Oh yea trying to keep the total system below $2500. Still have to replace the front stage (8" in the doors / 5.25 componets in the kick panels and tweets in the pillars) and a new deck.

Anybody bought from Etronics? (trustworthy, good service?)

I was sponsored and on Team Massive for over a year, they make solid stuff however their marketing and sales people are a bit retarded.

Thanks for the replies.

Here is one thing that is bothering me. The Pioneer (TS-W2504SPL) spec sheet states it has double stacked 80oz magnets with a power rating of 800/2500.

The Massive (CW10 stage2) states dual stacked 150oz magnets with a power rating of 600/1200.

Dont know all the ins and outs but I thought generally the bigger the magnet the more power. So, is the Massive under rated or maybe the Pioneer over ratted?

Checked out Dynamix and think I can still get the Massive subs cheaper from Etronics (Pioneers too) / Etronics ($139.99 for the Massive) + ($109.99 for the Pioneer)

As for running 6 sealed - I really dont want to go ported. Thought I wanted to go pure spl but for daily driver six should be enough.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Most people around here are running pairs (2-12 / 2-15) and I like the way the 10's sound and 6 of them would be something different for sure.

So, given the prices and specs (seal box) - which shall it be Pioneer SPL or the Massive? Again I will be running a Opti500x2 on each pair.
