How long would it show up in a blood test though. Could you smoke last night and still have it show in your blood the next morning, even if your not high? Thinking false conviction here...

Well, you couldn't tax some guy growing his own in his yard... like if I grow my own corn they can't tax me. But, if that guy sells it or a store sells it there would be income tax associated like anything.

California CANNOT legalize marijuana as it is a federally regulated substance. Even if the state decriminalizes it, it will still be a federal crime.

I was just about to post this. The state once paid an employee to grow marijuana as some sort of test and he got arrested by the feds.

The only way it would work right now is to find a way to standardize some kind of sobriety test since it isnt possible at this time for tests to differentiate intoxication through blood.

Thats what I thought, and thats what scares me. In driving high cases the court would be relying on subjective evidence instead of objective evidence like a breath test/blood test for alcohol.

I guess legalization will cause a problem with driving high that will force a new way to standardize testing of some sort.
