I didn't know they made those! That is exactly what I had planned on doing if I get a component set, would this be a recommended way to mount them without cutting a hole in my door panels?

Make the transition plate out of wood, and buy whatever component set you want. For just 70 bones, I doubt that Infinity plate speaker setup uses very high quality drivers.
