alright cool. what do i do with those extra hanging wires tho?

i think you solder the system remote control and the amp turn on. Im curious though, how does the factory speakers plug into your new HU? do they have rca's?

solder them...every wire i have in my system is soldered...even the ones to my door speakers...best connection you can get

If your car doesnt have a power ant. dont worry about that one just tape up the end or use a cap to cover it so it doesnt touch anything.

If your not running a amp just do the same with that wire . If you have no wires to hook the other two with just do the same with those. Dont know about chaing all yor grounds together.

ok so i got a new Hu and a dash kit. I can slide by HU in the dash kit but for the life of me cant figure out how to lock it into the dash kit. i feel such like an idiot. any help? unit is a deh p4000ub if that helps

I have the same deck and had the same problem, I ended up gluing it in place with aircraft-grade two stage epoxy that we use at work... has worked fine ever since //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Amp turn on wire only used to tell an external amp to turn on if you dont have one you dont need to wire that up to anything. I'm not sure what the system remote control is.

No, Soldering isnt a good way, Its the Best way, You can the Best possible connection. Wire nuts are for rednecks, wire nuts can come loose, and when they knock around the power turns off or speakers scratch, Solder/Tape. So when you need to pull out your head unit for some reason, you dont end up yankin wires out of the nuts
