making a sphere sub enclosure

The best way to do this is to find one of those huge tennis balls - the fuzzy material on the outside soaks up resin perfectly. Then glass on top of that.
yeah but theres not that much fuzzie stuff on the ball so i would still have to add more layers plus have to cut through the tough rubber.

it should be neat. for my ht i will have a each round enclosure a different color pool ball and the sub will be teh 8 ball and should look awsom as hell and alot better than some crappy plastic boxes they came in.

well i started a practice ball tonight and found out that fiberglassing a ball is not that easy. the dam thing likes to roll around and gets slippery. gonna put another coat or two on it tomorrow and try to get it looking right.

get one of those big rubber blow up balls, then put vaseline or somethign all around it and mat it. or could use the painters tape. then cut a small hole carefully in the glass ones its dry and deflate the ball and pull it out the sub hole should be easier then a wood one like that death star
