Making a Sealed box...

Alright, I need some clarification here... I've been looking at a Soundsplinter RL-P 15" Dual 2Ohm Subwoofer.... I want to try a 2 cF. SEALED enclosure at first... the displacement of the subwoofer is .21 cF. .... soooo does that mean I should make a box that has a net Ft. Volume of 2.21 cF to get a true 2.0 cF with the subwoofer in it???

2 cubes is net. Net is total airspace after wood, bracing, and sub

So yea w/ no bracing 2.21 cubes internal would give you 2 cubes net.

thanks... what exactly does bracing do for the enclosure??

Makes it a stronger enclosure. And its supposed to keep it from flexing.
