Making a new system (minus speaker) needing assistance

Hiya all, first time poster long time reader (love that BS off the start dont cha?)

I'm inheiriting a new 05 cavaliar prolly in January. Gonna have roughly 20k miles, prolly less since its at about 16k now. When i do this, i intend to get a good system and install it correctly (my last system was a 1000watt Pyle amp, Pyle 2x12" subwoofers in a ported box made by Pyle, and a Pyle headunit. Total cost i payed = 400$, total cost at Jiffy Lube = $240..i got ripped and my friend and I installed it ourselves in my current pos car but the subs broke).

So, Im looking for a system that's nice for a daily driver with cash to spend by that time. My current setup is such

Headunit: Pioneer DEH-P780MP

Amp: Kicker ZX2500.1 ZX Series Class D Monoblock Amplifier 06ZX2500.1

Dynamat 19405 Trunk Kit

Forgot to add before: This setup is for a daily driver, likes insane bass from rap songs. I am going for deep bass, didn't know if that was SQL or not.

And therein lies my dilema. So many subs to pick from but so few people with 05 cavaliars to tell me how big of subs they have.

I honestly, really, wanna get the 18" Solo-X by Kicker. I can afford it, but ill be broke after that for a while. That however is just 1 sub, rather then the 2 15" subs I'd prefer to put in there. What im looking at is 2x 15" 2006 Kicker L7 Solo barics..but apparently those are horrible for daily drivers i heard *but god i love kickers stuff*. Im looking for firstly anyone with a 05 cavaliar and a bumpin system already, and secondly a decision on what subs to get. Im lookin around 450-600 a sub if their good good 15's, but thats all google'able.

there are so many better subs that you can get than kicker, rlpls, ia dp's, aa assassins/arsenals, you could get the oldschool shivas or tumults, there's so many to choose from, what you really need to do is give us your trunk dimensions that you want to use up, then we can pick a sub.

funny u said that gema, my dad was pissed i said i didnt care if i had a ****ing trunk.

im going to 2 audio installers today. so ill get the max dimensions i can slap a box in there.

never heard of half those subs that were listed. but the XXX i have heard of.

my cavy is a 2 door, and the back seats fold down. im assuming mount the amp on that and leave them folded 100% of the time?

i didnt care if i had a trunk or spare tire either..and my dad also got pissed.. i didnt listen..couple months later i was stranded in the middle of irvine with a shredded tire and a big @ss towing fee since my insurance only covers 7 miles.

went to custom sounds, wow...blown away by the prices n shit. $350 for a vented box with no carpet or anything. they said something about attaching an amp kit? wtf is an amp kit?

but yea, they sell Kicker L7's for 700$...lol..and L5's for 600$...i about died laughing, so expensive.

only problem is i need box specs for that **** soundstream 15" XXX...they cant give me box specs or anything until i do. wishing someone would post some info on that.

build your own box, cost you ~20 dollars

and theres no way you'll get 2 15"s in a properly vented box in the trunk of a cavilier, without an in-trunk build.

LOL at the 18" SOlo X. You realize for alot of these setups you will need upgraded electrical? specially if your still thinking solo x, 1 you will need to spend ALOT of money to power it properly. An then alot on Alternator(s) Batteries, Wiring and so on

I have NO clue on building on a box. im not really woodworker savy; and thats to say the least. If anyone was in the STL area id pay em for it; sheet. i have no issues with that =p

but yea, the 18" is outta the question, LOL. was a drooling bad idea. but i am definitly working on a decision towards that soundstream XXX 15"...just thatll do me fine. but i still need that **** box...

i emailed techsupport for soundstream to see if they will tell me prior to buying the **** sub
