Haha, yeah Dozy, a 15" MAG came up on the FS forum and I jumped all over it! The only thing that was holding me back from the Mag was the $$$. Found a used one and solved that!

Bent on one side, BROKEN on the other. Notice the leads have NOT been used...this sub has NEVER SEEN POWER. Came from DD to the original owner like that. I don't know the original shipping company, but I'll be giving DHL a try for it's next leg of the journey. Stuckinok will get a much improved F motor version - CF dustcap.

DHL is the only company I haven't had a problem with. Consistently cheaper, quicker, and no damages.

How? They underestimate how heavy they are and drop them. I rarely see a "HEAVY" or "FRAGILE" label or both on a shipping container for a sub. As heavy as most of the new subs are, putting them in anything other than a wooden crate for shipping would probably be considered substandard packing if you tried to make a claim with the shipping company for insurance. Why you wouldn't crate them is beyond me anyway...
