Hifonics Goliath XX 1612 VS. Phoenix Gold Ti12D Elite

I can get the Phoenix Gold's for $300-$400, for the pair the tensels are broken and my buddy doesn't know much about subwoofers, so I can cheat 'em. ;-) Or I can buy the Hifonics Goliath woofers new, and have everything brand new and never used. They both have faily similar power handling, but I can't decide, I have only seen videos of the Goliaths, never seen them in action, personally. I have seen the Phoenix's flex my friend's ext. cab, quite a few times, and I am leaning towards them because of that fact. Any input?

Im guessing youd get more SQ from the PG's. But Due to the fact they are broken id look into the hifonics just to get around the hastle of having the PG's repaired

go with the ti elite's

you can always get a new cone assembly

and also most people dont know is not only is there the standard cone assmebly for hte ti elites but there is also a SPL cone assemble for the woofer

peopel have been known to throw 4 PG tantrum 1200.1 at the ti elite which is about 5500 watts.
