major noise

i have a 92 buick lesabre that i recently installed a pioneer head unit w/pioneer speakers and a kicker 4 channel amp thats giving me a major headache.i have a constant whinning sound that DOES NOT vary w/ rpms and a ticking noise that does vary.also you can hear a click every time u hit the brakes or when u use the turn signal, it clicks every time it blinks. i used 4 gauge wire for the power and ground wire which is about 15 inches long and grounded well inside the trunk. i used high quality patch cords and speaker wire that run right down the middle of the car-the power wire runs up the right side to the battery.i called a audio installer about this problem and he said to ground the outside of the rca jacks which helped a little but still the problem persists. he also hinted that hes had trouble with buicks before.i have a new alternator, battery,and plug wires. any advice would be greatly appreciated.PLEASE HELP ME OR IM GONNA RUN IT INTO THE RIVER!!!!!!thank you

check the HU ground.

and since it's a pioneer radio... hopefully u didn't plug an rca jack in or unplug it while the unit was on... if u did you prolly blew a ground trace... put another radio in and see if ur problem goes away

sorry bout tha second post-im really gettin frusrated with the whole thing. ive tryed grounding to about 6 different spots-no difference.i didnt unplug anything while the unit was on.i read somewhere in another thread about pioneer hu having a bad internal ground-just wondering if i can fix this problem myself or have to take it somewhere.thnx

well when u unground it ur supposed 2 take the fuse out of ur power line 1st... because when u unground it it's trying 2 find a ground and will ground itself through the rca's... i don't know if u can fix it or not tho
