what is "BIG THREE"?

ffs instead of posting all this bs on to search u could have already told him what it is to save him some trouble.

its using thicker wires (such as 4ga or better, some use 0/1gauge) to upgrade ur main wires from and to ur battery. i cant explain it too well, but im sure someone else can

The Big 3 is a wiring upgrade, that involves 4 to 0 guage wire. Take that, some terminals, and get under the hood:

1. Battery Ground to chassis.

Find a spot on the body or frame, nice and close to the battery, use the wire to connect this spot to the battery's negative terminal

2. Alternator case to chassis.

Find a spot on the body or frame, nice and close to the alternator, use the wire to connect this spot to the case of your alternator

3. Alternator positive to battery positive.

A really big wire, 8 guage or lower, runs directly between your alt and your battery, put some of your wire on top of it, and a 150-300 amp fuse about a foot from the battery.

Make sense?

Nope, you can do #2 as well...BUT

The CORRECT big three upgrade is!

#1 Alternator lead to Battery Positive

#2 Battery Negative to Chassis (Ground)

#3 Battery Negative to Engine Block (Ground)

Upgrade these wires to 1/0 awg

NG

#2 SHOULD be
