Mailbox + Speed + Truck = bad

Hrm

Hit a mailbox with steel reinforcements in it, that thing was HARD!

I was doin 65ish when I started sliding, and about 40 when I hit the mailbox

*tear*

You wouldnt think it but

New Front Bumper

New Grille

New Hood

New Bull-bar

3,918.32 estimated damage.

Fun

Plus a 250 dollar f'n mailbox I had to buy and put back up(dad made me lol)

But I've seen cars hit these kinds of mailboxes and the car didnt make it much further, nor did the driver

It was a beefy *** metal post with steal reinforcments in it

Completely Illegal in the state of GA, or so I was told by several people

Oh well, done now

Gotta get her fixed and sell her

that hood can be fixed easily, i couldnt really see the bumper tho, but you def need a

new grille shell, if u woulda hit the side of the driveway you probl would have, ive heard about a durango going 70 and flip 3 times end over end by hitting a driveway

yeah well

the only problem is that it cut down into the hood(thru it) and its all bent up and he said it'd cost **** near more(with the time and effort into it) to fix that hood than it would to get a new one and paint it - so new hood here I come

my friend hit one of those mail boxes before and f'ed his cj7 up pretty good in the front lol... then a few weeks later, he told me his jeep does better than anything in the snow and hit a parked truck and f'ed more stuff up

Haha that sucks, well in the Burban I hit a tree going about 15 in reverse. Needless to say it bent my bumper in pretty good, but that is all the damage it did.
