41 wide...covers the whole cargo area

21 tall...just to be safe

16 deep...

11.6 cubes external before displacement...sound good everyone?

how much bracing should i do?

Add an inch or two to the depth and call it a day, i would run them in 7 cube if you dont have the power, otherwise I dont think you will get quite the low end that you are after. If your limited on space then by all means go to the most you are comfortable with, but if it was me I would want the pair in 7 cube after displacment.......

I put 2 MJ's in my buddies explorer and they sound incredible . They're in a big *** ported box and they're very accurate with alot of low end . I don't know how they sound sealed but I love them ported . I say if you have the room port them . If you're going sealed i'm sure they will be nice too .

yeah i wanna seal them at first....only cause ill be driving home just for a few hours to make the box...over my spring break something ill try a ported...

I remember that box. Turned out awesome. I need to build a ported for my MJ, but just no room in the car for that big a box.

denim how far in MD are you.....might be a long shot but to build the box for these im gonna need to drive 2 hours back to NJ and even then id have to do it alone...

I honestly would love to. But I am so slammed for time, I have not even been able to build two test boxes for SSA prototypes we need. I love building, just with life/work/SSA shop/2 year old son/etc I have no time to do any car audio. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I have a ton of Second Skin, 2 ZED amps, an Icon 10, Mach5 mids, SEAS tweets, and so on just looking at me everyday. Equipment is piling up and I have had no chance to install.

 

I would rather tell you I can't and happen to find time, then tell you I can and have to cancel. Plus at my house, I have no garage, so everything is built out back on my deck, so weather is a factor also. I want to help, I just can't.
