I'm looking to replace my 18" xxx in my durango. Im going for all out sq this time, i dont care about hitting 145's in my daily car anymore..

I have an oppurtunity to pick up a 15" mag, or a 12" ID max for around the same price..

I would seal the Mag, and more than likely port the Max. What would you guys choose?

I am open to other options, but would like to spend no more than 300 bucks. Power will be a PDX 1.1000. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/boink.gif.91933e72f927f2cefc79aff02573090c.gif

well if you pay close attention to your listening habits then no. i was feeding my idmax around 960 watts daily and pounded the living crap out of it. it was loud as fawk but only lasted about a month. but like i said i was feeding it right around its power limits and pounding it hard. but it sounded awesome and when it hit the lows it was sweeet!

my experiences w/ the mag is that is seemed to boomier than the Max. I guess that's what I meant when I said 'warm'. The iDmax does really well with music that consists of instruments.
