i am about to rebuild both of these to matching 12's...

good thing i can unbolt these and interchange them. all i need is two more 12 inch baskets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif then i will have 4 assemblies for these motors //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

all psi recones what spider config are you going with?
yeah david is getting me one heck of a hook up

and the parts of the pink one aren't acutally psi's the guy shipped them to david to have them painted and i believe to have the quad leads put on also.

but 3 stiff spiders is what i am thinking.. cause my music plays at 32hz all day long lol

Yeah I bet your getting a deal for buying4 recones. 3 stiff is great for loud lows I think when you get into 4+ you really need a lot of power for the sub to play low. Also I like soft spiders better if you want to play real low they give you better extension when you get down there.

i am only buying two, what i meant was that i can unbolt these ones and bolt them right back in without coil rub. i already done it lol

but hey i'm always up for a good lesson, i'm 19 and still learningwhat are the advantages to stiff medium and soft spiders
Most subs are either stiff or soft. Stiff is higher spl in most cases but with less frequency extension. Soft is for good sq but when wanting to get low they give you great low end extension and give you better overall extension. In most cases stiff spiders are recommended because spl and chance of over excurting is not that high. On soft spiders if too much power is put on them the can over excurt. I don't know much about the positives and negatives of medium spiders but I'm sure they some sort of combo of the both on what they offer.

hmm i'll probably just stick with the stiff ones then... my re mt ten had like 7 stiff spiders on it

what tens bro
Just stick with stiffs they are going to be more of what you want. I like soft because I love the lows too much to care how loud my 40's are. Tc sounds ftw if you like the lows I will never go back. But those subs you picked up look like a lot of fun.
